My Late husband John (also known as Dupigney) was born and brought up in Pointe Michel and went to St Lukes school and then St. Marys Acadamy in Roseau. In 1976 he sent me and two of the children to stay with his parents in Pointe Michel for six weeks. His dad was known as Mr. Paul (Clemant Paul Pascal) and his mother was known as Ma Paul. They lived in a big half stone half wood house on the left hand side up the hill from the coast road opposite the water stand pipe. They are both dead now and the house is a wreck. I was hoping that through your website you might beable to tell me something about Mr. Pauls family because when I was there with the children he took me on the grand tour of Pointe Michel stopping off at many houses along the coast road and introduced us to his family, but as I did not speak the language I did not know what relationship the people were to
us.I know and have met Ma Pauls brothers and sisters and their children(the Etianne side of the family), but know nothing of the Pascal side of the family. I have been back to Dominica many times since my husbands death in 1977 but have always stayed in Roseau with his cousins.I am now trying to build up the family tree but have nothing for the Pascal family, Can you get help from St. Lukes Church register or people who might be related to Mr. Paul?
I do hope to hear from you very soon.

Greetings to you
My name is Diane Corriette and I manage a social network called Dominican Diaspora at http://www.dominican-diaspora.com
I have also started an online magazine covering Dominica at http://www.uniquelydominican.com
The magazine offers a free place to the local community and I was wondering if you would like to take up a free place in our magazine and include the information that you have at this website.
You can include that plus any other news, events or anything you would like on there. It will be like having your own private space on the magazine.
Please let me know if you are interested and I will happily open an account for you. There are plenty of videos on the site showing you how to use it and you will have access to a piece of software that will allow you to create audio and video. That way if you wanted to video your local area and add it to the site you could do that too, which of course will help tourism in Dominica but particularly your local area
with best wishes
Godbless
